# cSNAP: a creative and energy efficient way to keep cool, Published!

June 24, 2025

In a joint effort with the [Grinham Research Group](https://research.gsd.harvard.edu/grg/) at Harvard's Graduate School of Design, we designed, built, and tested a highly energy and water efficient regenerative indirect evaporative cooler using ceramic materials and a metal oxide vapor barrier layer.

This work, published in [Applied Energy](https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S030626192501027X?dgcid=author), represents a strong collaboration across academia and industry to demonstrate a field-tested climate technology, cSNAP.
