Haritosh, Amy, and Duygu led the development of a fluid dynamics model aimed for modeling hydrocephalus, a disease in which cerebrospinal fluid collects in the brain. The model helps guide the design of shunts - medical devices that drain the excess fluid - and is validated through complementary 4D MRI experiments. Find more details in [the highlight](https://seas.harvard.edu/news/2025/07/designing-better-brain-shunts) and the [publication in PNAS](https://www.pnas.org/doi/10.1073/pnas.2426067122).
