Manon Konings is a Swiss visiting master’s student from EPFL. She did my bachelor in mechanical engineering (EPFL) and is currently completing her master’s thesis in Aizenberg lab as part of a master in Energy science and technology at EPFL.
In the Aizenberg Lab, Manon is working under the supervision of Raphael Kay on unconventional ways of using liquids to control light and heat for sustainable energy application in buildings. Her current project involves lab experimentations for future technologies that aims to improve building comfort and energy efficiency, as well as investigating light- and heat-responsive materials for passive energy systems. Her broader interests include renewable energy systems, sustainable technologies, and nature-inspired solutions for energy applications.
