Oliviero Julien Gubelmann is a Swiss student at EPFL, conducting his masters in material engineer with a specialization in biomedical technology. His research in the Aizenberg Group is on drug delivery from SLIPS films on arterial stents. His interests are in drug delivery, additive manufacturing and space technology.

He received his Bachelors in material sciences in 2023 from EPFL. He was nominatd co-Author in a research in Angewandte Chemie International Edition for a project on protein based recyclable polymers, and was nominated for the contribution at the 2025 international electric propulsion conference at Imperial London for a project on a Pulse Plasma Thruster.

Outside of the lab, he enjoys cooking, reading and is passionate about photograpy.
