Raphael Ehrmaier is a visiting Master’s student from the Technical University of Munich (TUM), where he is currently completing his Master's thesis with our group. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from TUM and will pursue his doctoral studies at the TUM Chair of Energy Systems, focusing on optimization in Energy grids using Mixed-Integer Linear Programming. During his time with us, he works with carcinogen-detecting sensors by optimizing energy flows and indoor air quality in rooms and buildings. His current project with Haritosh Patel involves developing models to align sensor data with building energy management systems, aiming to create smarter control strategies that balance a healthy indoor environment with energy efficiency.
