Zora is a senior at Harvard College, majoring in Environmental Science and Engineering. She is deeply committed to addressing environmental challenges, with a focus on pollution control, sustainable agriculture, and water resource management, especially for communities disproportionately impacted by these issues. Currently, as an undergraduate intern in the Aizenberg Group, she and her thesis partner, Bella Pignataro, work with mentors Haritosh Patel and Anna Shneidman to develop a device designed to accurately detect volatile organic compounds in nail salons, aiming to reduce nail technicians' exposure to these harmful chemicals. In her free time, Zora enjoys training with the Harvard Taekwondo Club, creating intricate pop-up cards, and unwinding to her favorite movie soundtracks.
