Fig. 7: Bacteria readily form a ~40 µm thick biofilm on untreated silicone tubing, but biofilms of Pseudomonas aeruginosa are not present on the surface of iPDMS tubing in the same conditions. Note that some small, easily removed bacterial aggregates are present on the surface, and that isolated bacteria entered the walls of the infused tubing
