Meredith is a graduate student in bioengineering working on photonic crystal sensors. She is also a 2011 graduate of Boston University, where she obtained a bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering. There, she conducted research as a Beckman Scholar under Dr. Joyce Wong, developing techniques for cell sheet engineering, and completed her senior project under Dr. Muhammad Zaman, working on a point-of-care device for detecting counterfeit antimalarial medications.
