What an amazing accomplishment! The LaMer Award in Colloids and Surface Science is given to one individual per year for excellent PhD theses, and is presented at the ACS Colloid and Surface Science Symposium. Through his graduate research, Haichao has advanced our understanding of nanoparticle transport in porous media through a combination of theoretical fluid dynamics and experimental approaches.
