Peiyuan Qu received his B.S. at Peking University working with Prof. Jianbo Wang on the development of transition metal catalyzed transformations using metal carbene as coupling partners. He obtained his Ph.D. in 2021 under the direction of Prof. Dr. Marcus Weck at New York University, where he developed functional polymeric nanoreactors for non-orthogonal tandem catalysis. 

In August 2021, He joined the group of Prof. Dr. Joanna Aizenberg at Harvard University as a postdoctoral fellow, where he is currently working on the synthesis of adaptive materials based on liquid crystal elastomers as well as developing inversed-opal structures for catalytic applications.
