Hamed Almohammadi received his Ph.D. in 2023 from ETH Zurich, Switzerland, under the supervision of Prof. Raffaele Mezzenga. His research focused on controlling colloidal self-assembly through liquid-liquid crystalline phase separation.

In September 2023, Hamed joined the group of Prof. Joanna Aizenberg at Harvard University as a Swiss National Science Foundation (SNSF) postdoctoral fellow. Currently, he is working on developing adaptive materials made from liquid crystal elastomer.
