Team Winner of MIT-MBG Seed Grant!

Here's to live-saving diagnostics!

A new collaborative project between between Tim Swager at MIT, Dr. Stella Lee at Mass General Brigham (MGB), and our lab recently was one of the winners of the the Inaugural MIT-MGB Seed Grant. The mission is twofold: first, to create a quantitative test for the sense of smell, and second to create a implantable integrated device that can aid in smelling for patients who have lost it for various reasons (COVID, aging, etc.). A year ago we just published on our vision of how we can learn from biology to create better electronic noses, and here we are securing funds to do exactly that in the pursuit of better patient care.
