Abhishek Parekh

Collaborating Masters Student

Abhishek Parekh is a Master’s student in Advanced and Intelligent Manufacturing at Northeastern University, Boston. He earned his undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering from SSASIT, Gujarat Technological University in India. Following his bachelor's, he joined a 3D printing startup as co founder, started by his friends before relocating to the United States to further his education. He later worked as a Prototype Engineer co-op at XL Batteries, a company developing next-generation flow battery technology in Marlborough, USA.

Abhishek’s research interests span sustainability, manufacturing ethos, energy systems, rapid prototyping, and defense-oriented innovation. At the Aizenberg Lab, he is currently contributing to the Volatile Sensing project.

Outside the lab, Abhishek is passionate about astrophysics, cooking, trekking, and short film production. He enjoys playing table tennis, kabaddi, and cricket, and values connecting with people from diverse cultures. He lives by the principle: “Always try to learn something about everything and everything about something.”
