Duygu Dengiz is leading the development of new gas sensors in the Aizenberg Lab. She received her PhD in May 2025 from Kiel University, Germany. The focus of her thesis was on shape-memory auxetic materials, including developments in stretchable electronics and aneurysm treatment. During this time, she collaborated with the Aizenberg Group on the development of medical devices.
