Kathy Liu
SEAS Graduate Student 🕺🪩
Kathy is a Ph.D student in Materials Science and Mechanical Engineering. She received her B.S. from Stanford in Materials Science & Engineering, researching skin-inspired electronic materials and conductive, tissue-interfacing hydrogels in the lab of Prof. Zhenan Bao. She then completed a Fulbright Research year at the University of Groningen (Netherlands) with Prof. Ben Feringa, synthesizing molecular motors for light-driven artificial muscles.
At Harvard, Kathy researches stimuli-responsive and supramolecular materials for biomimetic and medical applications. Outside of the lab, she is a dancer and passionate about mentoring and STEM outreach.
