Maxime Mermillod-Blondin
Visiting Masters Student 2026
Maxime Mermillod-Blondin is a visiting Master's student from ETH Zurich currently completing his Master's thesis at the Aizenberg Lab under the supervision of Michael Gee. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from EPFL. Prior to undertaking his thesis, Maxime did an exchange program at Carnegie Mellon University. He likes to work on sustainable technological transitions and likes working on impactful projects.
During his time with the group, Maxime works on a cactus-inspired, radiatively cooled water-harvesting architecture that maximizes condensation and water transport over a given land footprint.
