Maxine Park
Undergraduate Intern
Max is a sophomore at Harvard studying math and computer science. As an undergraduate researcher in the Aizenberg Group, she is working with Raphael to fabricate biologically-inspired devices with applications to sustainable building design. Drawing inspiration from squid skins, her current project explores modulation of light absorption and reflection with pneumatic pressure, liquid droplets, and nanoscale grating structures. In addition to sustainability, she is passionate about the intersection of technology and humanitarian health and co-heads the undergraduate Technology & Global Health Initiative. In her spare time, Max enjoys classical piano, strolling the Charles with friends, and rewatching Kung Fu Panda.
