Roaa Marei

Roaa Marei is a senior in Pforzheimer House at Harvard, concentrating in Mechanical Engineering with a secondary in Social Anthropology. She is passionate about making an impact in the lives of others which is why she chose to partake in the SpiroSniff' project for her Senior Thesis alongside Alex Klein Wassink, and Gabriella Troy under Haritosh Patel and Jacopo Movilli's guidance. In addition to this, Roaa brings diverse and substantial experience from the aerospace industry, having worked and interned at Woodward, a leading aerospace manufacturing company. Her academic and professional interests lie at the intersection of engineering and the humanities, inspiring her to truly understand others and their needs in order to innovate using her engineering background.

Roaa is deeply passionate about education and leadership, participating in youth leadership conferences abroad in Dubai and India to inspire and guide the next generation. In her free time, she enjoys drawing, painting, and playing tennis and badminton.
