Sadhya Garg
Sadhya joined the Aizenberg lab in 2021 after completing her Bachelor of Science degree in Physics and Political Science at Tufts University. During college, Sadhya was a research assistant in the Pogue Lab at Dartmouth College, working on correcting clinical Cherenkov images for tissue optical properties and 3D printing fluorescent, tissue equivalent phantoms for fluorescence guided surgery. At Tufts, she did research for Prof. Peter Love, using high performance computer clusters to run molecular dynamic simulations in order to identify antiviral treatments for COVID-19. As a senior, Sadhya conducted her honors thesis in the Omenetto lab on the topic of fabricated silk-guanine photonic films, focusing on optimizing both synthetic guanine recrystallization and biogenic guanine extraction from fish.
