Tanya Shirman

Dr. Tanya Shirman joined Prof. Joanna Aizenberg’s Group in September 2012. She received her BSc degree in Chemistry from Hebrew University, Jerusalem. Then she moved to Rehovot where she obtained her MSc degree in Chemistry (Thesis: Photoinduced Deprotection and Patterning of Siloxane-Based Monolayers) and PhD degree (Thesis: Halogen Bonding: a New Supramolecular Entry for Assembling Organic and Hybrid Metal-Organic Materials in Solution and on Surfaces) from the Department of Organic Chemistry, the Weizmann Institute of Science, under the supervision of Prof. Milko E. van der Boom.
